The side of myself I thought was good and true was actually Satan telling me what to do. I made excuses to myself why I shouldn’t go to church, I made judgments of people (I tell you, on the day of judgment people will give account for every careless word they speak, for by your words you will be justified, and by your words you will be condemned.” Matthew 12:36-37, I told myself I was better because I was doing what I thought was right. All along I needed to let God and Jesus in to my heart and live by the words they have gave all of us in the Bible (“If you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe with your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Romans 10:9). I received God in to my heart and after that I had someone to ask for forgiveness and knew there was always someone who would love me (“God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved.” Ephesians 2:4-5). If your ever lonely and feel the world doesn’t like you, pray to God and Jesus and ask to be forgiven of your sins. Jesus died on the cross for our sins so that we can ask for forgiveness and one day join them and our loved ones in Heaven (“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life . John 3:16). I was saved on October 24th, 2010 at the age of 39 and from now on I know where I’ll go, do you know where you are going?
